New Promo and Logo for Kids These Days!

Alaska public radio devotees have for sure heard the Kids These Days! promos airing on KSKA over the last couple of weeks, and now as the debut of the show is approaching on August 31 at 2pm, we'll be posting more sneak peeks at our first program. Today we have a new promo for you (below) and our new logo (left) which you will soon see incorporated into this website.

The debut show is all about "Kids and the Wilderness" - our guest, Jen Aist, author of Babes of the Woods talks to host Shana Sheehy and answers listeners' questions about camping and hiking with kiddos. Contributor Jessica Cochran reports on Nature Deficit Disorder and files a piece about her own family camping trip, while producer Sarah Gonzales talks to the people behind the "Chugach Children's Forest".

Kids These Days! is a new radio program airing throughout Southcentral Alaska on KSKA, KRUA and translator stations starting Tuesday, August 31, 2010.
