GET KIDS OUTSIDE - that's the goal of Martin LeBlanc, Vice President and co-founder (along with Richard Louv) of the national Children & Nature Network - no matter if they live in urban or rural areas. Locally, Carmen Field, an educator and naturalist at the Kachemak Bay Research Reserve, discusses some of the local barriers that keep Alaska kids inside, and how to overcome them.
