The "Red and Blue" Playground

My kids like what they call the "Red and Blue" playground at Susitna Elementary in East Anchorage. It's right behind their preschool and has a good combination of swings, places to climb, rocks and a hill for running down. It also gets great afternoon sun...when there is any sun to be had!

Balto Seppala
On the west side of town, my one-year-old loves the tiny playground at Balto Seppala (on Wisconsin). He likes to bounce on the springy animals. It's great playground if you have one or two kids and a dog because there's a big open area for running around there as well.
