Meet an 18-year-old with some serious singing talent. Shanae’a Moore graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School in the spring. She spent part of her summer working with kids at a fine arts camp and this fall she’s working as an activities coordinator with the elderly – she often sings to them. She’s saving up some money to start theatre school in Texas.

KTD's Shana Sheehy recently spoke with Shanae’a about what got her into singing, her favorite roles, and what the future holds.
Cecelia Karoly-Lister is an Anchorage high school student who had her first art show this summer when she was only 14 years old. Host, Shana Sheehy, caught up with her at that opening held at a popular Anchorage café where her first showing of eight paintings sold out.

This past summer the Sitka Fine Arts Camp celebrated its 38th year in existence. Each summer elementary-school, middle school and high school- aged kids attend 2-week camp sessions at the Sheldon Jackson campus in SItka where they practice their art - and maybe even try out a new one.

Producer Sarah Gonzales spoke with Zoe and Harrison who attended this past summer to hear about their experiences there.
